The Advance application is a complete database of Cal Poly's alumni, donors, and friends. With this application, you can view and maintain a wide range of data including biographic, gift, and prospect information. This tool will enhance and support Cal Poly's advancement activities.
Advance Windows is accessed through an application on your personal computer called Windows Terminal Services, also known as CMS-WTS. See more information about CMS-WTS. Contact the CMS Call Center (756-7000 option 3) if you do not have a CMS-WTS (Windows Terminal Services) account.
For those users needing access to this application, you may request access by following these steps:
- Fill out and submit a request for PeopleSoft/Brio/BSR/SIS accounts (Text)
- Wait for the University Advancement Training and Support Specialist to contact you to schedule an Advance training session
- Follow instructions for Connecting to Advance via Windows Terminal Services (PDF)
